Greetings, Shamanscave and its forums have moved to a new hosting provider. Unfortunately, it took a few days longer than anticipated and you may notice if you posted recently your post is missing. I apologize for that, but rather than risk moving and over writing a database with current data we need to just pick up from here and move on. So if you had made a important post to the forums since 12-12-23 you might want to add it back. Don't worry, the last time we changed hosts was well over ten years ago, so doesn't happen every day. gary

I'm going to attempt the forum upgrade again soon, possibly tonight. One of the changes in the forum with the software upgrade is that your login name (what you put in the login box) and your display name (what your posts show "you" as) are going to be merged into the same thing, which is your login name. If you would like your login name changed as a result, please PM me. During the upgrade, the forum may be unavailable or show in maintenance mode. This will hopefully be temporary. -karl

Hello fellow shamanic practitioners, I have been journeying for about a year and experienced something rather strange last night during a short journey. I embarked on the journey with a very well defined intention/question and about 2/3 of the way through, I felt as if my body was literally overtaken by the spirit of an eagle. It may be important to say that Eagle is my power animal, but I have never before felt like I actually was the eagle in any kind of physical sense. In my trance state, it literally felt like the spirit of an eagle pressed into me and I then experienced having a beak and my actual human head began making subtle involuntary movements and I felt…

I have R A and am looking for help/support in handling it. Nutrition, alternate healing, anything at all you know that may help..I will be grateful. The future with RA looks scary and I could do with recommendations, etc. Thank you!

I'm having difficulty discerning if everything written about here is true, though I can tell at least a fair deal of it is. Source It's a very long article, so I'm copying some of the more thought-provoking, important and controversial statements below. Bolded statements are from the original text. The form of the article is an interview between "ATS" (a reporter for an occult/conspiracy forum and 32nd degree mason) and "HH" (a "hidden hand" behind the global agenda who belongs to an offworld bloodline). All quotes are from HH. 1. "The One Infinite Creator (or Great Central Sun) steps down It's Infinite Energy to become Logos. Logos in turn designs vast Universes of…

Hi again, I'm curious how you all realized that recapitulation was a life changing practice. Like... did you realize that it was changing your life while you were in the midst of a recapping session or did things just start to change in your life and you knew somehow that it was thanks to the practice. Or maybe a bit of both? My meditations are always super profound but recapping feels more subtle for me so i'm quite curious about why so many people swear by it. I've been doing it for approximately 20 days and am quite committed to it. I have very recently experienced a possible change in vocation/artistic focus. I was very used to working in the medium of nove…

So i have taken Spirals I and am in the middle of Quicksilver. There's so many exercises under my belt that i don't totally know what to do with them. Like... i don't know if it's enough to just do the exercise for each week and then drop it like a hot potato or if i should try to determine for myself what practices i should do... and then try to do a small handful of those exercises each day. Obviously the more we practice the more we learn but i come against resistance with the more challenging exercises. But maybe those are the ones i should be doing? Or maybe just the opposite. Do the ones that feel easy for me. I could ramble on but i'm sure this is enough to riff of…

Hello everyone! What would be your advice on recapping psychotic episodes? I always knew what they were back when I had them and could separate them from physical reality; they were vision-like I guess is the best way to describe them. So even though I'm pretty sure this will trigger them again, that doesn't worry me much; they weren't a threat to my or anyone elses physical safety. I haven't had them in years and I don't particularly want to return to listening to endless screaming choruses of disembodied suffering voices echoing through the great shadowy voids when all I'm trying to do is sleep, but I have a feeling I dropped the nightmarish stuff at the cost of a …

In our spirals I class we worked with a coin. Forgive me if I employ the wrong language but we were to channel our intent into it to practice what intent and conflicting intents and agreements and such feel like. When i first started working with the coin it didn't feel right. I was strictly spinning the coin and trying to intend that it lands on tails each time. This whole way of relating to it felt forced and it felt like i was really trying and exerting effort trying to break a law of nature. In the follow up class we spoke about how the coin has its own intent. On my trip to the library today i found a coin and i said to it like... you're my new coin. And natura…

I have, in taking up jewelry crafting, taken up learning about different stones' properties; Fire Agate being one of them. I recently found strands of beads of pure black/blue and white beads of Fire Agate. This stone is known to be most every color of the rainbow (most often many at once), but I can't find anything, or at least haven't yet about black and white on the internet. Some of the beads are so blue and white that they resemble something like Sodalite. There is no red, green, or yellow in them as I expect to see in Fire Agate - these are strictly monochrome cold colors. I see within it more of an aspect of stoicism. Please, and this is the topic of this…

I am a 44 years old man, and I am experiencing a massive shamanic awakening in the last few weeks. Im reading books and listening to pods and audios about the topic. But this is not even close to whats going on. I need someone I could safely exchange some personal thoughts with. I want to confirm things and aask for further directions. Will appreciate to be contacted by an exeprienced person who has been into shamanism for a considerable amount of time and who feels a pull of intuition to reply to me with honest willingness to assist. Much appreciated it advance. DB

I am 53 and have never had any type of visions until recently. The first one was a couple of months ago. It was a pyramid with water flowing under it. The next one came a bout two weeks later. It was just a bunch of squiggly lines moving all over the place. The to my left, a very large eye opened out of nowhere. It looked around at the lines and then at me. It then closed as suddenly as it opened. Since then I have had several of the same one. It is a bunch of weird writing like hieroglyphics that are wiggling and changing. All of the visions are the same in the sense that they all look like they have been drawn crudely like by a child. And they all start the same. They a…

I saw this documentary on Gaia called: Healing the Luminous Body. There a sacred Dr. by the name of Alberto Villoldo, PhD., introduces and explains the luminous energy field that surrounds and informs our physical body like a blueprint of life. It is a secret of ancient shaman-healers that many of our physical and psychological problems stem from imprints within our luminous body. Dr. Villoldo unveils how to heal and recover from these destructive imprints and regain our physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Join us as we travel to the Andes Mountains to learn the secret of the ancient Shamans, a secret that can lead all of us to health, happiness and beauty. It w…

I've experienced much of my life in other spaces than the third dimension. I oscillate between whether my experiences were 'real' and of an etheric nature or were rather just in my sometimes overactive imagination. I'm noticing that much of my energy is tied up in places other than the present moment and it is affecting my memory, my ability to parent, and my overall energy levels; I know that I can't do my great work without healing myself first. I know that I need to pull myself back to me, I've sensed this for awhile now, but when I look at the basic recapitulation instructions, one must imagine the moment where their energy is stuck. Moment to me implies time and spa…

Hello, I have been thinking thoughts that are not my own for about 5 years now. on the very rare occasion they are useful (telling me things i didn't know) but of most the times they are harassing or disturbing. I have been through much humiliation and physical pain in the last 5 years due to the "telepathic?" experience. I have believed my self to be a victim of gangstalking and can kinda relate to the truman show. can someone tell me how to gain a handle on when i communicate with these entities and how to have a more beneficial interaction with them. what are they good for practically?(i think they can help me examine others from afar or even up close) …

I don't think so. I believe that what Christians think is that demons exist. I have faced them hundreds of times. My belief is that, and you must realize how hard it is for spirits to climb uphill to reach us through the door, that they must grasp at our most sensitive emotions to reach us. This emotion is fear. It is our most vulnerable point, and thus the most easily grasped from the other side of the door. I say that these "demons" are simply spirits misunderstood by the unitiated, grasping at the nearest threads of our soul that they can from the other side of the door. I do believe that many of their wide-spread beliefs hold weight. I often, especiall…
