i know im a shaman for a few reasons i would like to hear others stories and i am hoping an experienced shaman can give me some guidence, so i can make the next step and so i can be ready for what happens next and make the right choices when the creator gives the next sign, the next test, and when the ancestors visit me again. i hope they do, those entities are so cool, and they help me with my creations. i want to share my story but id like to chat with a experienced shaman first for guidence, thank you

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I'm unsure about where my journey is going at the moment. I don't call myself a shaman, because I haven't followed a tradition of shamanism. I have been experiencing seeing multiple people including my deceased wife in my living room mirror for over 9 months. It all begins when I go to my bedroom at 11 pm at night. I see my wife every night along with other people in groups. If anyone reading this, has or presently is experiencing similar phenomenon , please let me Know. First, let me apologize if this is a repeat. I searched the forums a bit and did not see a duplicate. I listened to a meditation for finding spirit animals. I have long been connected to wolves. I think that their nature and mine are very similar. I have always thought of my spirit animal as being a wolf. When I did the meditation, I found myself seeing two animals. One was the wolf, and the other the buffalo. I was actually fairly surprised by the buffalo because I have never felt connected to this animal really. I am just confused why I was seeing two animals. Good day. I just recently discovered something interesting and though it would be a good topic to get some insight on. So lately I was spending a lot of time meditating in nature. Near lakes, plain fields, and so on. The thing is at the end of my meditations or my silent walks home I would encounter some animals, cats, birds etc. And encountered animals would notice me only when I would notice them at last seconds of my meditation. Hi all, i had an unusual experience recently where I witnessed someone personally very close to me shapeshift physically in front of me. The people shown to me were of people I have known in this life and also a face I do not know. The person afterwards claimed to not be aware of this and insisted they were themselves. What is the Makers view on the Afterlife? I have come to accept reincarnation as very probable, but I've noticed that most cultures that hold to this view also want to get off the rebirth merry-go-round. I have a feeling that the after-death state is way more complex than we usually think and has many cultural elements. As a Norse Heathen the most important thing to overcome is the base self, our lower nature, our fears. I have a long history of having a mannequin in my house. She'll be 10 this year. I have my own name I gave her, but I believe there's more behind that. Allow me to explain: Everyone who has come into my house is instantly taken aback by how real she looks, but after 2 nights at my house, for at least the last 5 or 6 years, I find houseguests speaking to her. Im new to trying to practice shamanish. For my first few weeks it was going very well with journeying. The other day i went to meditate at my friends house and when i went outside to meditate I didn't feel safe spiritually but I didn't leave immediately. After about a minute of being outside i got scared and ran back inside and since then I haven't been able to journey. Has this happened to anyone else? What should i do?

I have experienced at least one unwanted telepathy, and have transmitted accidentally as well. What does this mean from a shamanistic perspective? Any psychiatrist would call it psychosis, and I would have but for some evidence that showed up. I kind of want it to stop, but have little time at the moment to dedicate to anything new. I only experienced them once, if that matters.

In my experience I found that among those on their spiritual path there are quite a few that had all sorts of spiritual abilities but were not able to wrest control away from their mind/ego. Being able to do the latter is for me awareness - i.e. awareness of me being aware; for example being able to hear yourself think without being the thinker (Lots of "beings" :-) ). To me this ability seemed to be more important, especialy when applied to wordly encounters or situations -but seemingly impossible to do all the time. Hi, I am wondering if any changes occur with sleep as you advance in your Shamanic practices. For instance, did frequently practicing Shamanic journeying or other altered states of consciousness (including lucid dreaming) make you more/less wakeful throughout the day? Did it increase/decrease the amount of hours you slept each night? If so, were you practicing other techniques alongside it such as meditation? I've read some time ago on this forum, one of our nice teacher telling that when you're travelling geographically you're actually time travelling. Recently I've had to travel a lot by train doing approximately 75 miles in one hour and what I've felt I when I reached the destination, is that i travelled through time. It's something that puzzled me because logically i only changed my physical position and the two places are on the same time zone. And when I arrived to town B I really had the feeling I was in an other time than I was in town A just one hour ago. Hello. I always hear about people having amazing journeys but I don't seem to be able to do much at all. I put on the drumming music, try visualizing things, and really nothing happens. I have interesting visualization experiences, but it's not like I'm actually seeing anything, and whenever I hear other people talk about their experiences, they always see and often hear things.
