First of all, hello! I am new to the site and this is my first time posting. I'm trying to find a group of people that I can discuss shamanism and experiences with. The majority of those around me think I'm a little nuts for exploring this avenue, especially since I am generally very logic-minded and do not subscribe to most religious dogma and practices. I am and always have been on a spiritual journey, half here half some where else. Recently, after almost losing my life and many strange events, I began to dance a dance where I spin and now I can't seem to get back to the "real" world. My journey is lonely, I'm ok with that, but I don't know how to live in today's society.

My grandmother was born in 33 My mom was born in 55 I was born in 77...all born in the US. I didn't go looking for this, it has been very confusing to me because my Grandma didn't develop her gift, or maybe she did and I don't know, she does use a willow to find water... Hi everyone I was born with the gift, seen things, spirits, night terrors, rare sickness, voices, demons, O.b.e's and so on. The stress of it all has left me with a brain sickness, but on a plus note my neurosurgeons says I'm normal, I didn't have a mental illness (much to the relief of mum). I'm also the social outcast, shunned, the hermit. Only loved by my family and my partner. People love calling me the witch, Satans daughter, loony you name it they say it. Hello. So I moved to a rental apartment, that previuos owner was a very uncalm person as i would name him. The thing is the owner is still alive but he is not living here anymore. My relatives agreed to rent it for me. This apartment contains a lot of the old owners stuff that i cant get rid of for now. So this energy keeps disturbing me when i meditate in this room. I would love to hear some opinions and views on and if there is a difference between Reiki energy work and shamanic energy work. I tend to think there is a difference, not so much that energy is different but how it is implimented and worked with, that is different. It is an eastern form of energy work, yes? I've been stalking for like... a year and a half or longer but i surely could still learn more about it. I'm imagining intent matters quite a bit here so what intentions can/should one set when stalking? How do you channel that intent into the practice? I'm familiar with the concept of stalking one's own self importance out of existence and also stalking one's own power... i guess to reclaim it? or materialize it? I've started to work on sharpening focus and I'm having an interesting experience. I pick a spot on the wall and just put all my attention on that. Like meditation, except I am not trying to relax my mind, alter perception or meditate as such, I am more looking at intensifying my focussing abilities. If that makes sense?
