Hi again, I'm curious how you all realized that recapitulation was a life changing practice. Like... did you realize that it was changing your life while you were in the midst of a recapping session or did things just start to change in your life and you knew somehow that it was thanks to the practice. Or maybe a bit of both? My meditations are always super profound but recapping feels more subtle for me so i'm quite curious about why so many people swear by it. I have, in taking up jewelry crafting, taken up learning about different stones' properties; Fire Agate being one of them. I recently found strands of beads of pure black/blue and white beads of Fire Agate. This stone is known to be most every color of the rainbow (most often many at once), but I can't find anything, or at least haven't yet about black and white on the internet. Some of the beads are so blue and white that they resemble something like Sodalite. There is no red, green, or yellow in them as I expect to see in Fire Agate - these are strictly monochrome cold colors. I see within it more of an aspect of stoicism. Im new to trying to practice shamanish. For my first few weeks it was going very well with journeying. The other day i went to meditate at my friends house and when i went outside to meditate I didn't feel safe spiritually but I didn't leave immediately. After about a minute of being outside i got scared and ran back inside and since then I haven't been able to journey. Has this happened to anyone else? What should i do?

First of all, hello! I am new to the site and this is my first time posting. I'm trying to find a group of people that I can discuss shamanism and experiences with. The majority of those around me think I'm a little nuts for exploring this avenue, especially since I am generally very logic-minded and do not subscribe to most religious dogma and practices. I got a simple cold last week. While I was lying in bed I had this inner voice (as if talking to myself) ask in the voice of someone I care about if she could come in. I "said" yes first and then continued with "if you are really that person". But that second part seems to have been ignored. Hello, I'm new here. I've been on an initiation path for a long time and looking to learn more. Today I had a vision during meditation and met my power animal for the first time, Crow. My question is, Crow picked up a white pebble and put it in my mouth so I would swallow it. I've tried to find out what it might mean, but I have no idea. First he swallowed the pebble and it passed through him, then he fed it to me. I was wondering what the significance was. If someone has an idea, I'd appreciate it.

Hello there, I'm new to this site and not quite sure what I'm doing. Anyhow, I'm currently studying Shamanism at open alternative college. I'm on lesson three in my course and I've a few questions I wanted to ask from someone who is knowledgeable in Shamanism. So lesson three talks about Shamans communicating with spirits and may even marry an entity from others planes. I get psychosis about once every week and half to two weeks. I surmised at one point that if this is indeed a spiritual experience/spiritual attack that there must be a literal team of entitites feeding off my energy and manipulating my energy bodies and thoughts, each with their own specialty, towards the end of feeding on specific energy signatures that they manipulate into existence through messing around with my energy and mind. Hi All, Two queries 1) While i was recapping, a particularly embarrassing moment from my past came up and i decided i wanted to clear it out. This type of energy seemed particularly stubborn. I worked on it for at least five inhalations and five exhalations. This was the first time i felt compelled to go beyond one breath cycle regarding a memory. In our spirals I class we worked with a coin. Forgive me if I employ the wrong language but we were to channel our intent into it to practice what intent and conflicting intents and agreements and such feel like. When i first started working with the coin it didn't feel right. I was strictly spinning the coin and trying to intend that it lands on tails each time. This whole way of relating to it felt forced and it felt like i was really trying and exerting effort trying to break a law of nature.
