I would love to hear some opinions and views on and if there is a difference between Reiki energy work and shamanic energy work. I tend to think there is a difference, not so much that energy is different but how it is implimented and worked with, that is different. It is an eastern form of energy work, yes? I have had this discussion with one who practices Reiki and she believes it is all the same. Thanks so much for your imput.

I had tried salvia twice but I wasn't spiritual at all at the time. I didn't even believe in God or souls. As soon as i breathed out the smoke, my vision went black. I don't remember much other than having no vision and hearing someone talk to me. I know now it was my spirit guide. I am 53 and have never had any type of visions until recently. The first one was a couple of months ago. It was a pyramid with water flowing under it. The next one came a bout two weeks later. It was just a bunch of squiggly lines moving all over the place. The to my left, a very large eye opened out of nowhere. It looked around at the lines and then at me. I will begin by explaining my primary struggle: Sometimes (about once a week on average) I am overwhelmed by a solipsistic waking nightmare in which i am the only conscious entity and all the suffering in the world is my fault. It happens mostly in public places but sometimes it strikes at home. When i am hit with it I feel evil and pathetic. In it I am being given a choice. Accept the "knowing" that I am evil and punish myself or opt out of remembering my own lowliness and inherit a greater punishment. Hi, This is my 1st post in this forum, i have been following this site for sometimes and trying to do some self practice also. Yesterday i tried to see the shadow world as mentioned in this link (https://www.shamanscave.com/practices/working-with-shadows). I have tried it into my room at night. I have created shadow and tried to make intention to see the shadow world. after 2 hours (around) of practice i didn't feel any presence or not even can't see any thing. its not like i don't believe in shadow world or in the process. Hi all, i had an unusual experience recently where I witnessed someone personally very close to me shapeshift physically in front of me. The people shown to me were of people I have known in this life and also a face I do not know. The person afterwards claimed to not be aware of this and insisted they were themselves. Hi, I'm looking for Maker advice on dealing with life outside of the Shamanic. I notice whenever I'm in my awareness/intent exploring around I am fine. Totally fine, mesmerized, very understanding and respecting of my personal power and starting to accept it. I have been experiencing seeing multiple people including my deceased wife in my living room mirror for over 9 months. It all begins when I go to my bedroom at 11 pm at night. I see my wife every night along with other people in groups. If anyone reading this, has or presently is experiencing similar phenomenon , please let me Know. How do you guys have the will to keep living after experiencing the love/oneness of the universe? After my awakening, my world has become so vast. I feel that living within societies boundaries is like cutting off large pieces of myself to tuck away for fear of judgement. This life is so shallow..so oppressed.
