Right now, as you read these words, mycelial networks pulse beneath your feet. Fungi transform death into life. Plants exhale the oxygen you breathe.
The soil biome, that vast, primeval web of relationship, does what it has done for hundreds of millions of years: connecting, communicating, sustaining, transforming.
And you? You are not witnessing this from outside. You are not a visitor to the soil biome, but an expression of it.
Somewhere along the way, we forgot how to listen to the language fungi and plants speak constantly. We forgot the forest breathes with us, that soil holds memory, that mycelium carries messages we can learn to hear.
This course is not about learning something new, it's about reconnecting with a 'language' that a part of you has always known.
In this one day introductory class, you'll learn to connect with the living soil and re-establish communication with it. Through video instruction and guided practice, you'll discover how to perceive the flow of life beneath the dirt beneath you and connect with the mycelial network in ways that deepen understanding of both the hidden underground web and yourself. You'll also receive a tool for creating a portal to connect remotely with the soil when direct contact isn't possible.
This class requires nothing but access to outdoor space and willingness to be open. No experience necessary.
A Note on the Journey Ahead
This work is not theoretical. It will require you to: • Sit on the ground and be uncomfortable • Put your hands in the soil and feel things you cannot name • Listen when nothing seems to be speaking • Trust experiences logic cannot explain • Be patient when connection doesn't come immediately • Be humble when you realize how much the earth has to teach
