Unless you are resolute in your pursuit of the shamanic path, you may want to reconsider.
Stalking three, a unique aspect of shamanism, is not for those overly concerned about their self-image or the opinions of others. Stalking three propels the learner beyond conventional reality, focusing on elements of energy both internal and external that inhabit our world. It involves a relentless pursuit of the student's 'other', bringing it into contact with energies that only it can fully interpret and reintegrate into the sphere of regular awareness. This class, rooted in the maker's tradition, tends to be intense, with rigorous requirements. We will employ exercises to uncover and stalk the 'other' within us, as well as to track the energies in the world beyond our usual waking consciousness. This could encompass various aspects of shamanism, including interactions with other shamanic groups practicing methods distinct from the makers.
The duration of the class is seven weeks.
Prerequisites include completion of all Tier One and Tier Two classes, Recap 3, Spirals 3, Shamanic Death, Seeing 3, an introduction to the Maker Tradition, Dreaming 3, and approval or invitation from the faculty.
